Life has been busy the last few weeks. Here's a few of the things we've been up to.
As is tradition, we visited the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller on Family Day. We were joined again this year by Grandpa and Grandma Peters. When we went last year some of the exhibits were a bit frightening for Dawson, so this year he was a little hesitant when we told him we were going. He turned out to be quite brave. But, he made sure he prepared Cooper by telling him about all the scary things he might see, so Cooper spent a lot of time walking through the museum with his eyes covered saying "I scared, I scared." Gotta love brothers!
The mighty T-Rex
Having fun in the Kids Science Center
WE HAVE WALLS!!! (well almost)
Our friend Scott has been working on our basement the last few days. It is SO exciting to see things coming together and are looking forward to having a more usable space downstairs. Here are a few pictures of the progress.
Before:
The exercise/junk collection room (soon to be playroom)
Laundry/Bathroom/Furnace
area
Former toy room(soon to be family/media room)

The hall and furnace room. (The door at the end of the hall leads to the playroom)
Laundry room

Furnace room and bathroom areas

Dave and a friend our going to be working on the electrical and plumbing over the next few weeks and then Scott will return to drywall. We are hoping by the end of the month to have most of the work completed (minus carpet and painting). For now all of the stuff from the basement is squished into Nixon's room. Poor baby, his room looks like an episode of Hoarders.
