Mini Vacation

Over the November long weekend,we decided to get away for a mini family vacation, so on the Thursday night we drove to Calgary and stayed in a hotel. We booked a hotel right across the street from an LRT station, so that the next day we could explore the city by train! Our first stop was the Zoo where we spent the majority of our day. In the later afternoon we headed to the Calgary Tower. It was great to spend time together just the five of us!

Happy Birthday Baby D!!!

Four years ago today we held you, Baby D, for the very first time! It's amazing how quickly time passes and how much you have changed over that past four years(mommy realized this the other day as she was registering you for kindergarten next fall). We love that you still ask for a snuggle, your fascination with anything that has wheels, the pride you feel when you get to be daddy's helper and the love that you have for your little brothers. So happy fourth birthday big guy, we love you so much!
