First Camping Trip

Last weekend, we took our trailer out for the very first time. We actually purchased it last summer, but due to the fact that I was pregnant and not interested in having a baby in the middle of the boonies, it sat unused. So, as you can imagine we were so excited to actually put it to use this summer. For our first trip we ventured out to River View Campground just outside of Rocky. We had a fantastic time, Dawson especially. It was so great to spend time together, just the four of us. Here are some highlights from our trip....

Sitting by the shore of the North Saskatchewan River
This is how Dawson look the whole weekend, he had so much fun!

"My's campin' tayler" (as Dawson would call it)

Some local wildlife-eek! (Becky, Dave took this one for you)

Looks like you gusy had a great time.

Camping also gets easier the more you do it- you will find the kids actually stay seated at the table for meals eventually.

The area you picked looks nice and quiet. Getting away from all the hussle and bussle is definitely a treat. Looks like you all had lots of fun.
