Eight Months Old!

Dawson is now eight months old and on the down hill race towards one years old! Dave and I both agree that over the past month it seems he has gone from baby to little boy. Here are some of the highlights of the past month:

Weight: somewhere between 18-19lbs. My scale is not the most accurate, all I know is those solid foods have definitely kicked in, because he is starting to get really heavy when you pick him up.
Height: 27"
Favorite Toy: the remote control! One day he was so grumpy and the only thing that would make him happy was to sit him on the couch and give him the remote control. (like father, like son=)
Favorite Foods: he eats a large variety of solid foods now, but so far the veggies are still his favorite.
Little Singer: He has started to sing himself to sleep at night. He sings very loudly and in a very high pitched voice, it's hilarious!
Favorite Word: Da Da, we aren't sure if he really knows what he is saying, but it's his favorite sound.
First: First ride on a plane, he thought the take off was great!
Sitting: He is very comfortable with sitting on his own now and will occasionally go from a laying down to sitting position on his own!
Sitting Still: Sitting still is definitely not an option for Dawson, even snapping a picture of Dawson and Eeyore was a challenge! I was able to get one shot of the 2 of them before Dawson attacked Eeyore!
