Seven Months Old!

Dawson is now Seven months old! It's hard to believe that in less than six months we will be celebrating his first birthday!

Here are some of the things that Dawson has accomplished in the last month:

A little less growing and a lot more moving!

Weight: just over 16lbs

Height: 27"

Little mover and shaker: he is crazy busy now. Let just say that the nursery at church is absolutely necessary or we really don't gain anything from the service! The last few Sundays the nursery has been full, so he has had to sit with us. Basically this is a brief description of what he was like:

Climb up mommies left shoulder, climb up mommies right shoulder, smile and make noises at the people behind me, jump up and down on mommies lap, pull mommies hair, pull on the sleeve of the man next to me, sit forward, sit backwards, stand on the floor, chew the bulletin, sit with daddy (and repeat all of the above) babble loudly, now daddy takes me to the parent room in the back.

Favorite Toys: jolly jumper, sun tent (loves hanging out in the backyard with mom while she works on the garden)

The queen wave: He has discovered that he can twist his wrists, he can often be caught staring at his hand and rotating his wrist back and forth, it's hilarious because it looks like the queen wave!

New foods: squash and chicken

Favorite foods: squash and sweet potatoes (much to his daddies disgust)

Dislikes: Sitting in his highchair and wearing a bib

Fears: He is terrified of the vacuum cleaner

Favorite moments: I love it when I am in another room and I can hear him laughing hysterically to himself, it's priceless!
